Trendseeder and Ylang 23 came together for the inaugural THE NEXT NOW competition, held at The Ace Hotel in New York City. Close to 100 emerging designers passed through the event in synchronized 10 minute blocks as judges got to know each of the candidates. Retrouvaí’s Kirsty Stone, an emerging designer from Toronto, won the inaugural event.
Retrouvaí is about reinterpreting very classic motifs that have been passed down through generations, and combining these with an attitude that embodies the modern woman.
